Job Description:
Continuous Improvement Coordinator, St. Louis, Mo area
Responsible for applying Continuous Improvement throughout the plant using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and other Continuous Improvement methods.
Develop, implement and lead continuous improvement projects to improve productivity, reduce waste and deliver cost savings.
Implement lean continuous improvement manufacturing processes for new products and improve systems for existing products.
Work with all departments and Managers to define the scope of improvement opportunities.
Facilitate the implementation of Six Sigma methodologies and drive value stream enhancement.
Experience with lean tools including VSM, process flow, Kaizen, TPS.
Experience with forecasting and finical budgeting.
Must have hands-on experience with lean manufacturing, continues improvement implementation and facilitation experience.
5-10 years of experience in manufacturing environment
B.S. Degree in engineering or related field
Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification .
(A Six Sigma certification is required)
Must be well versed in the Theory of Constraints and Lean Manufacturing.
